IGDA Los Angeles kicks off 2010 with its first meeting and official reboot of the LA chapter! We invite you to join us on the second Thursday of each month as we explore current industry topics, connect with our professional peers and foster the advancement of the video game industry.
The chapter officially launches in January with a round table discussion titled, "Beyond Facebook and the iPhone: The Future of Casual Game Development."
Casual games are back . . . with a vengeance. With the tremendous rise in the popularity of social networks and mobile applications, the casual game market is estimated to be worth over $13.5 billion in 2010.
Panelists:
Quinn Dunki - Founder, One Girl One Laptop Productions
Zack Ford - Co-Founder & CTO, Zero G Games
Christopher Ulm - CEO, Appy Entertainment
Cynthia Woll - Founder & CEO, Cul de Sac Studios
There is ample street parking available and light refreshments will be served provided by our generous sponsor, Rich Media Institute.
We look forward to seeing you and being a part of the new IGDA Los Angeles!
