Formed in 2004, Black Cherry is a high-energy Ottawa-based band with a passion for entertaining. Members Rob Letourneau, Patt Devine, Jade Wolfe Ron Kozan, Julio Velazquez and Dan George are professional musicians whose goal is to leave their audiences wanting more. Our second CD, “What’s the Deal”, was recorded and released March 20th 2009 in Ottawa, ON. With eight songs, this CD, produced by drummer, Rob Letourneau features blues and classic rock style music. In the over five years that Black Cherry has been on the scene, we have had the privilege to have opened for bands such as The Jeff Healey Band and The Five Man Electrical Band. The band has also entertained at many fairs, festivals and night clubs. In December 2006 and again in 2007, the band played on the Gloucester Fair float in the Orleans Parade of Lights in front of approximately 125,000 appreciative people. The group also had the good fortune of winning the “Best Band Award” in the parade as well.
